Dabur India Partners With Accenture to Build an AI-Powered Digital Brain Across Its Enterprise Operations

Dabur India has announced a multi-year collaboration with Accenture to accelerate AI adoption and build what the company is calling a "digital brain" - an intelligence layer embedded across its entire enterprise, from supply chain and demand sensing to marketing spend and financial performance management.

The initiative is designed to strengthen decision-making, improve business agility and unlock new opportunities for profitable growth, and builds on Dabur's existing investments in cloud and digital core modernisation.

Building the Data Foundation First

The collaboration begins where most AI transformations fail - the data layer. Accenture will help Dabur create a scalable, unified data foundation by integrating internal, external, structured and unstructured datasets into a centralised data lake, enabling more standardised, automated and trusted data flows across the enterprise.

Without that foundation, AI deployments remain isolated experiments rather than enterprise-wide capabilities. Dabur's decision to prioritise data unification before capability deployment reflects a maturity of approach that distinguishes this initiative from the wave of AI pilots that have produced dashboards without decisions.

Control Towers and Real-Time Intelligence

With this foundation in place, Dabur will deploy control towers and digital dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators, helping leaders monitor business health, track performance and respond faster to market shifts.

For a company operating across healthcare, personal care, foods, and beverages - with a distribution network spanning rural and urban India as well as international markets - real-time visibility into demand signals, inventory positions, and sales performance is a significant operational upgrade.

The Digital Brain in Practice

Manas Mehra, Global Chief Information Officer at Dabur India, articulated the ambition precisely. "At Dabur, our AI strategy is focused on enabling faster, more informed decisions in response to evolving consumer expectations and dynamic market conditions. By building a digital brain on strong data foundations and advanced AI, we are embedding intelligence across the enterprise. Our collaboration with Accenture will help us sense demand more accurately, respond with greater agility and deliver sharper insights with stronger governance."

The collaboration prioritises high-impact, outcome-based use cases focused on value realisation, spend optimisation and EBITDA margin expansion. Accenture will also support Dabur in reimagining talent, operating models, and governance frameworks to sustain AI-led transformation at scale.

The Accenture Intelligent Digital Brain Framework

The Dabur partnership sits within Accenture's broader Intelligent Digital Brain framework - a full-stack capability designed to close the gap between data-rich and truly intelligent enterprises. The framework contextualises enterprise data and decision logic, enabling AI that does not merely automate existing processes but actively improves them through continuous learning. In a global high-tech client deployment, the framework pulls signals from partner activity, buyer intent, sales data, and competitive movements to drive commercial performance - a model that translates directly to Dabur's FMCG context.
