Startup Jharkhand and Amity University Jharkhand Host Startup Conclave 2026, Draw 550+ Participants in Landmark Celebration of Entrepreneurship
Startup Jharkhand partnered with Amity University Jharkhand to host Startup Conclave 2026 in Ranchi on July 24, bringing together 550+ participants including 30+ startup founders, policymakers, industry leaders, and students. The conclave featured an MoU signing, founder felicitations, a panel discussion, and addresses by senior government officials including the Secretary of Jharkhand's Labour and Skill Development Department.
Amity University Jharkhand hosted Startup Conclave 2026 in Ranchi on Thursday in partnership with Startup Jharkhand to catalysing Jharkhand's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The conclave drew more than 550 participants, including 30+ startup founders, policymakers, industry leaders, academicians, and school students from Innovation Labs and Clubs across the region.
Inaugural Ceremony
The conclave opened with the Lighting of the Lamp and a Welcome Address by Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Dean (MAP), Amity University Jharkhand. Three Guests of Honour shared perspectives on the state's startup ecosystem: Mr. Sandeep Madiwal, CEO of FMCIII - the incubation centre backed by Tata Technologies Ltd; and Mr. Aditya Malhotra, President of FJCCI.
MoU Signing and Founder Felicitations
A defining highlight of the conclave was the MoU Signing Ceremony, followed by the Felicitation of Startup Founders - recognising Jharkhand's emerging entrepreneurial community. The session was graced by Chief Guest Sri Jitendra Kumar Singh, Secretary, Department of Labour, Employment, Training and Skill Development, Government of Jharkhand, whose address underscored the state government's commitment to skilling and entrepreneurship. The session concluded with blessings from the Vice Chancellor and a Vote of Thanks by the Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand.
Panel Discussion: Founders on Building in Jharkhand
The panel discussion opened with a presentation by Startup Jharkhand, followed by an engaging conversation featuring Mr. Raja Thakur, Founder, WEINTEL LABS; Mr. Ronald E. Toppo, Founder, Batia Studios; Ms. Anisha Pandey, Founder, Vardaan Enterprises; Mr. Pranabesh Barik, Founder, AURA; and Mr. Manglesh Ranjan, Curator, Startup Jharkhand. The founders shared candid insights on building ventures in Jharkhand, scaling in a tier-2 ecosystem, and navigating the realities of the startup journey - followed by an interactive Q&A with the audience. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Julie Vardhan, HOI, ASMC.
