Blissclub Appoints Srijan Suman as Head of Marketing as Activewear Brand Expands Into Menswear
Bengaluru-based activewear brand Blissclub has appointed Srijan Suman as Head of Marketing, bringing on a digital commerce veteran from Metyis and Titan Company to lead the brand's marketing function as it expands its movement wear portfolio from women's to men's. Suman, who has previously worked across Titan, Fastrack, Sonata, MediaCom, Merkle Sokrati, and Wipro, will be based in Bengaluru.
Blissclub, the Bengaluru-based activewear brand that built its identity around movement wear for women, has appointed Srijan Suman as its new Head of Marketing. Suman will oversee the company's marketing strategy and brand initiatives during its next phase of expansion - a phase that is as much about category as it is about scale, with Blissclub now actively pushing into the menswear segment after establishing itself as one of India's most recognised women's activewear brands.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Suman wrote: "Elated to share that I have joined Blissclub as Head of Marketing! I am super excited to collaborate with a stellar team to shape the next phase of a brand that's redefining movement wear in India - first for women, and now for men."
A Digital Commerce-Led Career
Suman arrives at Blissclub with a profile squarely suited to a D2C brand in growth mode. He joins after spending over two years at Metyis, most recently as marketing manager for digital commerce. Prior to Metyis, Suman was growth marketing manager at Titan Company, where he worked on the company's digital commerce business across brands including Titan, Fastrack, and Sonata.
Earlier in his career, he held senior marketing and strategy roles at MediaCom, Merkle Sokrati, and shumee, and began his professional journey as an associate consultant at Wipro. On the academic front, Suman holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from NMIMS Mumbai and a B.Tech from KIIT, Bhubaneswar.
The Brand He Is Walking Into
Blissclub was founded by Minu Margeret in 2020 with a singular focus: build the best movement wear for women in India. The brand grew rapidly on the back of community-driven marketing, high-quality product, and a positioning that resonated strongly with health-conscious urban women. It has since raised institutional capital and built a loyal following that has extended well beyond its early adopter base.
The decision to expand into menswear is the brand's most significant category bet since its founding - and the appointment of a marketing head at this juncture signals that Blissclub intends to invest seriously in building the brand's identity in the new segment rather than treating it as an extension of its existing playbook.
For Suman, it is a significant step up - from marketing manager roles to leading the marketing function of one of India's most talked-about D2C activewear brands at a pivotal moment in its journey.
